Piped Gas

Gigajoule, through its subsidiary company in Mozambique, Matola Gas Company (MGC), has constructed over 100km of a transmission and distribution pipelines that feeds Natural Gas to the industrial markets in the Matola district in Mozambique. Since 2012, there are already over 30 customers that are being supplied with Natural Gas through a transmission, distribution and virtual (CNG) pipeline system. 

New customers are continuously being connected to the system. The power stations at Ressano Garcia and Maputo are both supplied by pipeline gas.
